My father, Dr. Sumner Ling, was a dentist in Brantford for 40 years. He built his practice on the simple principle of treating everyone he met with dignity and respect. As his reputation in Brantford grew, so did his team and his practice. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with my dad until 2015 when he retired, and I will always cherish those years where I was able to learn from him up close.

I met my wife, Dr. Meagan Bennett, in dental school. We were in second year when we started dating. We instantly bonded over our shared love of McDonald’s, wandering the streets of downtown Toronto, and the fact that both of us had just been dumped by our respective boyfriend/girlfriend. Fast forward many years and we now raise 6 young children together.

My wife and I started this new dental practice to represent a fresh start for our team. A chance to reinvent what we think real family dentistry should be like. Most of the patients we meet have at least some form of anxiety about visiting the dentist. They have smile problems they’ve been putting off.

Sometimes that means giving you some friendly advice over the phone.
